Lauren didn't know it at the time, but the long-haired heavy metal fan she was waiting on would introduce her to her husband...me. We were all in college at the time. The bass player in my metal band was on a date with his girlfriend. Always eager to play matchmaker, he knew from the moment the waitress (Lauren) arrived at the table that he had to get her phone number for me. But how? He spent the whole evening talking about me...building me up. Then, at the end, he simply asked for her phone number to pass along to me. He must have been very convincing because it worked. 
Lauren and I met, fell in love, dated and got engaged in 1999. were married on 7/7/2000. We were both teachers.
Our plan was to wait 5 years, both work, save for a house, then have kids. God's plan was to give us our first child in 2002, Elliana Grace Hall. Quite an unexpected delight.
Ellie is fun-loving, very outgoing and quick to join in any conversation. 
In 2004, Cassandra Hope came along. Cassie is a sensitive child who loves to laugh...and cry...honestly. She also loves animals.
In 2006, Jared Alexander arrived. Jared loves to wrestle and talk tough, but he is frequently caught dancing. He can practically charm his way out of anything.
As for pets, we've already sent 2 beta fish and a cat onto glory. The cat had it coming. We currently have a dog, Spencer Panda Hall (Cassie named him). He is a mix between a Boston Terrier and a Weimaraner.
